The Preventive War
On April 24, 2006, Arthur Schlesinger, former adviser to President John F. Kennedy, said in an article in the Washington Post:

"The Hundred Days is indelibly associated with Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the Thousand Days with John F. Kennedy. But as of this week, a thousand days remain of President Bush's last term -- days filled with ominous preparations for and dark rumors of a preventive war against Iran."

"…our Cold War presidents kept to the…formula of containment plus deterrence, and we won the Cold War without escalating it into a nuclear war. Enter George W. Bush as the great exponent of preventive war. In 2003, owing to the collapse of the Democratic opposition, Bush shifted the base of American foreign policy from containment-deterrence to presidential preventive war."

"Observers describe Bush as 'messianic' in his conviction that he is fulfilling the divine purpose."

"There stretch ahead for Bush a thousand days of his own. He might use them to start the third Bush war: the Afghan war (justified), the Iraq war (based on fantasy, deception and self-deception), the Iran war (also fantasy, deception and self-deception). The Time of the Prophecies
We are well into the period of destruction which the Maya have called the "time of the prophecies." Nuclear war in the Middle East? Escalation to World War Three? The Maya have told us "2006 is a very dangerous year," a year in which "we can destroy ourselves." And according to Michael Drosnin's Bible Code II, the year 2006 is encoded with "World War" and "Atomic Holocaust."

World Peace Begins Within Ourselves
Yes, we have the power to make war. But we also have the power to end war. Forever.

We have the power to make peace.

We live in a time of increasing polarization of the planet, and we are facing a choice. We can destroy ourselves, or we can create peace on Earth.

The creation of peace on Earth begins with inner peace.

Inner peace is a form of energy. We all know what this energy feels like. And there is a way to work this energy. When we feel peace within, we can project it outward. We can transmit it from one person to the next. When the energy of peace flows in this way, it joins people together in a climate of peace. This is our work. Although we may wind up destroying almost everything we have, propelled by our own momentum toward the brink of annihilation, we eventually must create peace on Earth if we are to save whatever remains. We must turn things around.

In the Americas, it has been the responsibility of the Hopi, entrusted to them by the Creator, to hold a space in which they keep and maintain the energy of peace. Native Americans understand this. That is why Native Americans refer to the Hopi as The Keepers of the Peace, and why Hopiland, in the Four Corners Region, holds so much importance for the future of humanity.

If we can create World War, then we can create World Peace. When we find peace within ourselves, we will create peace on Earth.

Once again I am putting out the call. When the time is right, we will gather at the Four Corners, and from there we will generate the energy to create peace on Earth.
